The Importance of Coherence in Problem Solving

The ambition level of what we're doing in a version today is so unbelievably much larger than it was back at the beginning. I'm as we we're about to release version 13.3 and even that that point one increment release is already a very impressive collection of things. It's always kind of shocking to me that a modern version of open language can take longer to produce from the incrementally previous version than it took to make version one from nothing but that's the nature of large engineering systems.
