The Importance of Story Narrative and Myth
I think Western civilization, rational mindset has just sort of dismissed myth as totally, well, that's not true. So we just dismiss that has to be literally true. And then you look at the Bible in regards to story and myth and take off the lens of all measurable and real and right and absolutely without error it becomes something to grapple with. I don't know what it is about that question, but when I try to articulate an image of God, it feels like it's slipping away a bit. Like every time I watch a nature documentary, I kind of think is creation really soaked in divine love.
