Brit Laptorn's Disappearance in Dubrovnik

Brit Laptorn vanished from Plupfuego, Croatia on September 18. Her body was found in the waters near Bononovo Bay 22 days later. Only approximately 40% of Brit's remains were recovered with several organs and limbs missing as well as most of her teeth and hair. Forensic experts deemed it lucky that Brit's body had been discovered at all, given there was very little tissue remaining to keep it afloat.
