The face you're born into will determine so many things about you. And her face as a text that was, she was born into, she in a sense, doesn't really have any choice because she is this being that comes about in this particular time and occupies this body. She has one of these semiotic systems operating all the time on her face. When she starts thinking about her like this, it becomes, you know, there's this human being behind that, that has to work through all this stuff.
