i joined gitlap when i ws still in college, still in the netherlands. About half my team, or half the team i worked on, were located elsewhere. And i was able to combine at whits college for about a year and a half. But since it was all remote, i also jumped on the opportunity to go and travel and meet these colleagues around the world. In two thousand 16 actually, a month after i finished my college speci degree,. i went on a six months trip where i visited forty nine of these colleagues in 20 different cities in 14 countries, on five continents.
