Do You Have a Square Dance Club?
There used to be square dance clubs with 500,000 people all over the United States. Once you learn a certain kind of calling, you can go to any community and enter in. There are different kinds of calling, just like there are different sports. And so if you don't know the calling to a particular regional kind of call, you can't really function in asquare dance group. But but they've kind of made a protocol set of calling so that you can go pretty much anywhere in the U.S. and dance the same square dance with people.
