Learn the Most Common 2000 Words

If you memorize the most common 2000 words, you're going to know all those. You'll be able to easily be able to make 10 or more sentences a day. By getting input and growing your comprehension, you build an intuition for the language. It took like two years of doing full time immersion to get basic fluency in Japanese. If you're doing it less hardcore, that could take you five, six, seven years. But I also say that most people who study Japanese never get even close to fluency inJapanese.
