What Is the Science of Science and What Does It Do?
In the nineties there was a movement amongst trusts of science to do something like, look, we con't grand the like to se accurate things that sociologists and athopologists were saying. People are responsive to these incentives that arent necessarily noblin pursuit of the truth. Bm: I just already think there's a conflict between acknowledging that science is a humin devil and thinking t ikes to be done better or worse. It may sometimes lead us towardsbarns. But i don't mean it's wrong. What you have to work out is, what does a social system constituted by those incentives and agents pursuing those kind of goals, human as they are,
