Using the Hesta Volatility Model in Traffic Safety Data

The hestentacastic volatility model is fairly popular in finance. And i suppose its application in transportation safety was edcated on the fact that we saw a lot of commonalities between how stock prices or asser prices behave and how the collision rates were turning out inthe data. So our approach going into it was just to see whether the hesto model could be applied well on crash rates. And thankfully, the mathematics packed it up. And so too did the forecast. They were pretty accurat in the end.
