How to Maximize Your Return on Your Investments

I'm 38. I don't want to be a surgeon when I'm 70. It's all good if I was 18 and I was in index funds and that's what I just like stayed with. But like, that's not the case. The bulk of my earning years are coming up here. And I need to really maximize the return on those earning years. Index funds aren't going to get me there. So now I started looking at well small businesses real estate. You have no reason to go buy some random strip mall because you think it's an investment. That's how I sort of like stumble into these things because you're trying to like kind of shape.
