Hannala: Zaid is the quote unquote adopted son before Islam of the Prophet Sussan. He adopted him, then Allah abolished this notion of adoption. By the way, adoption here means tabani, you call a child your son. Hannala: As for adoption of taking a child and raising, that's fully Islamic. But to claim the child is yours, no, that's not Islamic.
