The Unmodified Techniques of Helio Gracie
When Hener Gracie came of age, it's a very tough line to toe to say that the techniques are unchanged since the time of Helio Gracie. And we're still suffering from the consequences of this. I could probably get somebody reasonably functional with no sparring. It's the techniques themselves that are just antiquated. They're like the stuff from the old self-defense stuff that some people still insist is better than the stuff that's happening today. That was one of the most interesting conversations that I had witnessed because everything publicly, everything, the whole sales pitch was that we have not modified this. We have not changed the techniques since LA of Rezi.
