Center stage is a really neat feature. But there's no room for the camera that can be so super wide angle in the really thin mackbook lids. The biggest problem with it is that usually when we've used it, the eye pad is in a magic keyboard case,. and therefore the camera's not at the top centre. It's one of those features that sounds too good to be true, and in practice, it's even better, in my opinion, than they promise it to be.
