CNN reported that in the first quarter of 2023 there were 413 anti queer bills trying to pass through all state legislators. I'm not aware of and I don't have the data on this but I have no problem saying I'm confident that most of them are pushed by evangelical or conservative Christians. And so, and you know, for those of you who grew up in this world you know exactly what I'm talking about because it is a they're really good at spinning things to always be the victims yet they're so often in action the victim isers right? "I can't tell you how often I heard if we don't stand up now. We'll be doing this from prison"
