The Power of Storytelling to Persuade

I'm just less worried about the politics of it than just thinking through. I think there's a tendency to believe that most programmes are efficacious. My reading of the evidence is that while I would love it to be so, I don't believe it is. That's why I'm a passionate advocate for more randomised trials and social policy. But I don't think most people in public life or the general public do.
