Teaching Is a Medium for Learning and Teaching Is About the Self
The self is immediately in danger of being co-opted by others, interesting placed by others right the idea of compliance and that has a lot to do with my own life as you can imagine so therefore the notion that it's not about me it's never about me can't be about me was a mantra for me as a teacher and a scholar. In teaching all too often as in life but teaching is my or education students already have a tendency to regard us as projection screens and if we unwittingly or wittingly make ourselves into this larger than life figure in their life that's unethical in my opinion as teaching.
