The Myth of Social Security
In 1975, 22 per 65 and older received income from a pension. It peaked in 1990, 1982 at 38% of people. Half of all senior citizens get 50% of their income from social security. For other people, either it's too far into the future to care or there are just so many uncertainties involved that people get overwhelmed.
