A Night in Love by Um-Kul Thung

I could barely look at our military generals when I sang Hadith Al-Roh. Her troops had risks to their lives for us. Um-kul Thung held a diplomatic passport whilst travelling. She also routinely sent her earnings from the tour back to the Egyptian treasury. It was estimated that she raised somewhere in the region of 2 million Egyptian pounds for the military. No one can describe the extent of my pride when I went to Paris and raised my voice in the name of Egypt. The biggest compliment I received was when Miss Yudh Al-Gul referred to me as the Lady, it reminded me how far I had come.
