Do You Think Blair Made the Right Decision?
Blair pushed through new levels of international law called the responsibility to protect. The principle is very attractive and there are facts on the ground in Kosovo that were undeniable, he says. But practical outcomes have been pretty ghastly for those who used it as a weapon against dictators or their own people. He believes Blair was driven by a genuine moral purpose but his policies haven't worked out well so far.
