The Legend of Siwa Quadal
In some versions of the La Verona story, she's killed her children. She doesn't know they're dead, but the bones of her children are somehow fused into her back. Siwa Quadal is like, it translates to snake woman. And additionally, the ruler of the Siwa Tito, which is the deified spirits of women who passed away during child death or childbirth.
