I've found that dialing yourself back to the present moment has been a really helpful tool for me because sometimes you start thinking about, ah, I have this many more miles to go. And yes, you can focus on that during meditation, but you canfocus on that on your run too. Every night I drink tea with my daughters on the balcony and one game we play over there is listen for one minute to the sounds that you actually hear.
