Is There a Sensory Input to the Nervous System?

When we have a asial injury, the sensory input towards the central nervous system will be different. Patients tend to activate certain regions of pain activity that are dealing with more visual attention and conscious movement planning. This is probably relatively fine during very simple tasks. But when you take away the visual system from patients, well then they have not the possibility any more to compensate with their visual system for the properceptive loss. And then see typically bigger problems in terms of possital control of movement patterns,. et cetera.
