The Cost of Billing by the Hour
When I went solo, I knew I was starting a business. But it still took me an embarrassingly long time to really internalize that and not feel like, yeah, I had the money in two separate accounts, but it's all my money. The real big problem with that is that if you're billing by the hour, and you don't see yourself as an employee, then all of that money feels like profit, but it’s actually cost. So the next time hire a copywriter, you've got a buffer of cash that you can pay them immediately and be the best there ever was.
