Is There a Winter in Biotechnology?
A new technology comes alonga new methods that have potential, and they're usually over hyped by the scientists out of enthusiasm. Most of the important technologies take some time to volve and be refined to the point where they can have a major impact. I think with more management of how long it's going to take, but the impact it will have, would serve the field better. But are there other underlying teh technological factors? Like advances in computing o advances in that the human geno project was, now, how many decades ago, to actually make meaningful progress.
