Today is PLA Day, a national holiday in China celebrating the military's founding. In the background, there are some rumors of military purges which have been circulating for a few weeks now. Less than 48 hours ago, there was a major development confirming all these rumors. The incumbent commander of the PLA rocket force, General Li Yiwi, has been relieved. This is a really big political earthquake within the PLA for two reasons.
