Transition is such a long, drawn out process reflect multiple test nets. Key difference is just how much value is at stake, and the fact that we want for for a successful transition to happen. We wantid to happen as, as you said, like in a hot swap fashion where there is no interruption to serveice for uses. So it's really interesting to use this term hard swap. And i think for a lot of outsiders from crypto, it mayt seem really strange to that this transition issuch a long,. drawn out process reflects multiple test nets, gorly, and a few other steps after the merge.

The Merge, which marks the official transition to Proof-of-Stake, is slated to occur around September 15 - 16th and is possibly the largest crypto event to happen in a long time. The transition to Proof-of-Stake is supposedly a bullish event, but lately, there have been concerns raised on whether it is the right move.
