The History of Train Wrecks
There were at least 75 planned train wrecks to watch for fun, mostly playing out in the southwestern and midwestern United States. The most famous was known as the crash at Crush, which took place in September of 1896. It's hard to come up with an exact tally of how many there were because there were several different people arranging these things over the span of about 40 years.
