The Evolution of the Snow Plow

In an alternate universe, a snow plow was invented. The company that used to employ the hundred guys with snow shovels would hire another person who could do the same job in the same amount of time. If somebody else owns it and then this guy just rents it daily, then the idea is the daily rental rate for the snow plow can be less than what he has to pay in wages to the workers every day.
