At the time, Jesse was making 45 grand a year at YNAB. He and his wife were saving all that money to buy a house in 07. The idea of working for myself and providing for my family just seemed very risky. "I don't think there was honestly much of a transition or at least not one that I'm noticing in hindsight," he says.
