Did French and Spanish Imperial Life Have Much Impact on Saint Genevieve?
It seems like the residents of saint genevieve would play the role of empire that each empire askes them to. But it also seems like this community was just kind of isolated, you know, even as it was connected to entrepose like new orleans,. It's impossible to be completely separate, right? This is the world that they are in. And again, they are connected to the trade and the economy. We see that when these different events happening abroad, or even on the other side of the continent, that influences who migrates into saint genevieving and who migrates out.
