How Did You Start Your Career in Publishing?

I think my parents, absolutely, they were intellectuals. They met at Oxford in a summer program. My father was an attorney. So I think that the written word, we always had a summer reading list. We always had a job chart. Everybody, again, Martha, I think we share that commonality in the way we were raised. And I don't think people remember everybody was raised in a very, very similar fashion for a very long time. It's just like a little more haphazard than that, I think.
