The Importance of Symbolism in Revelation
I think we can understand Revelation perfectly and fond without the author. The date I think matters a little bit more as we're trying to, especially when we get to like Revelation 12, 13, 17, 18. There's certainly enough evil associated with both Nero and Domitian that if you want to pinpoint one of them as, or what they represent as a beast,. At least the latter part of Nero's reign and most of Domitian's reign.
