Film Australia - Is There a Political Backlash to Tell These Stories?

I think there is an openness to these ideas from parts of our film institutions. The sad part is that the pushback doesn't really come from the institutionin is case, it came from film critics who were bashing a film before they'd even seen it. It's saying that gun laws are portant to stop people who, through circumstances outside of our control, might do something bad. So it's very important and good to have that laid out. And the movie makes the point that australia has, in some instances, wound back its gun controlled lowg since, i mean, 19 96.
