His movie performances are pretty sort of stylised and camp in themselves. He plays the witch of Capri who's a sort of queen that comes in apparently was originally written for a woman but then they put him in it. There were quite a few duds that really didn't receive either good reviews all last very long on the stage I mean he wrote so much that I suppose inevitably some of the there is sort of quality control.
