Buckles: I don't think it's the most helpful mode of analysis for what's happening in adventure. She is scrounging for tools to apply to this thing to make it legible to her literary studies department. This is a way in which games touch again on an earlier thing that you mentioned about how adventure specifically just like untethers itself from a moral universe. Buckles: Some of the most fascinating stuff in this dissertation to me is when she gets into like the distinct play experiences and how those things can be different.
