Germany is in the top five of global weapons producers, but often famously has an army that wastes a huge amount to achieve virtually no fighting power. Ryan Mattal says they have 139 leopard tanks that they would be in a position to deliver to Ukraine relatively quickly. The German military industrial complex essentially lives through exports. And so they will certainly do well out of this.
