How to Simplify Your Spending
You can simplify by adopting a sort of percentage base, very broad brush percentage based approach to your spending. This is where you take a 50, 30, 20 rule or whatever, 50% for your bills, 30 for fun and 20 for saving. I think you still need to work out what your own actual spending is before you set the 50% for bills one. But it's not necessarily a target. It needs to be somewhat realistic. If you're only spending 40% of your expenses on bills, you could have more for saving or more for pensions or whatever. All for fun. Absolutely. You mean pensions are not fun? So obviously you need to make the percentages work for you
