The only other possibility is using what a cool sustainable aviation fuels are SaaS. Such fuels are already being used in small proportions mixed with traditional kerosene. A new plane program across up to 30 billion would take 10 years from launched commercialization. The problem is made worse by the plane maker duopoly between Boeing and Airbus.
