The Metaphysical Model for the General Resurrection
The idea that I cease to exist and then I come back, like I just think that's impossible. So yeah, I want to deny anything like gap existence or soul sleep. But I also want to deny the denial of the general resurrection. There just is a time at which Christ returns and all the dead are raised. If you were to die right now, you would reach the eschatine when Jesus returns. That is the really tricky thing to figure out how to actually draw up a metaphysical model for that.
