The Sscapegoat Mechanism Is Getting Less Effective
Gerard: The scapegoat mechanism is becoming less and less effective, right? It doesn't work anymore the way that it used to before it was sort of revealed to humanity. And they simply don't work to bind people together. So we need we either need more of them. We need them more often. I guess in extraordinary cases, the scapegoat mechanism has worked to bind the world together. You could argue that the Holocaust, you know, in some sense did that. Like we were all united in this belief, like this could never happen again. Yeah.
