We're Not Throwing a Party

In luke 15, a shepherd finds his lost sheep. He joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbours together and says, rejoice with me. If we're going to rejoice, we're deftly going to be throwing a party. And what are we going to serve at that dinner? Brent, a lamb. The celebration is about a god, a shepherd, who will go and find lost things, not sinners who repent. In the same way, your father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish. Story is about a lord who will do anything for outsiders.
