The History of the Tiara of Saita Bernese

There were many critics who said that the tiara was a forgery. A professor of Vasilovsky of St. Petersburg and German archaeologist Adolf Furt von Glühr were two of the most prominent. Critics brought up the glaring fact that this piece looked way too pristine to date back to the time of the Scythians. The Louvre's curator of Greek and Roman antiquities, Monsieur Herrond de Vifos, wrote a counter article in August 2013.
