If i sell it put to open, and i've rolled it twice, i've essentially sold a total of three puts. Most people would say, you're not losing because, well, i didn't pay any extra debbit. No, for example, the sevent t e where i'm selling every single day, and sometimes i get stopped out,. but yet, i'm viewing each trade independently as a separate occurrence. So that's what for me is just a personal choice.
