The Sound of the Sea
Sound is loaded with information for sea creatures, and our human ears don't have nearly the same capability that they do. Sound in water is very efficient. You no faster. It travels further than in air. And fishes, like a lot of aquatic animals, have taken advantage of this since they use sound during their whole life,. even when they're babies. Tim told me that if a reef is healthy, it sounds louder so it attracts more fish to the noise which then adds extra pressure on coral reefs. We can see thae's a virtuous suckle going here with the noises made by young larvae being attracted to the Coral Reefs around us.
