The History of Shakespeare

Robert Green referred to Shakespeare as a Johannes Factotum, which is a Latin phrase that literally translates as a Johnny Do Everything. This is the first recorded use of that phrase, and it's considered to be an early version of the more anglicized term a Jack of all trades.
