I think meurlogically, a thinking or talking about something that you wish was true about yourself activates the same reward circuits as actually going through with it. Tat's probably why it's so hard to go through with it, because you a got the benefits just by talking about it. And i think not being a talker is important,. Youe sort of peremptiely rewarding yourself with dopermin just for thinking about it, and then you don't do it.
