Cancer in many ways has greater advantages and adaptability than normal cells. So frequently we see, you know, as the cell cycle goes on, we see down regulation or sometimes even mutation of these cell cycle checkpoint regulators to sustain continuous growth so that the cells can continue dividing. That's essentially kind of like what is cancer rate. It's a ability to continuously pass these checkpoints to a point where it's not normal and they can continue to grow despite,. you know, those stop signals, that normal cells follow.
