The Product of the Means of Consumption

The means of consumption industries can be broken up into two broad groups. There are the necessary ones, and then there are luxury ones that want to separate themselves from the plebs. The product of the means of production is the same thing as the constant capital of the Means of sumption. But where did they get it from? Where did this all originate from? And you know, capitalism seems to presuppose itself in so far as variable capital.
