The Origin of Consciousness

There's two questions. There's the identity question, what's the nature of consciousness? And then there's the dependence question. How can conscious come to exist? Right? So this would be a kind of objection, this this emergence, even a proposal for how consciousness could come from materiality. But i mean, in the book, i say that emergence is really just a label for the mystery,. Because we haven't yet accounted for how the consciousness could come purely from third person dead matter. Like, how does that happen? Now, on one level, the answer is, it just emerges. That's the answer ad and we just observe that when you have, i don't know
