Chimney Rock State Park
Chimney Rock is a massive 315-foot granite outcropping that rises above the surrounding woodland. In 1806, an eight-year-old girl named Elizabeth Reeves told her brother that she had just spotted a man standing on top of Chimney Rock. Five years later, in 1811, more unexplainable phenomena took place there.
